The scientific method has been in use since before the stone age and has resulted in every advance in the state of the human condition. Religion seems an attempt in the same direction but is not subjected to this method because of pier pressure, or many times it is forced on a people by a ruler. At this point in history it is so very important for an effort to begin wherein followers of all religions subject their own teachings an scriptures to this method comparing what is claimed to what is know and proved. We must sort between what could be god given wisdom and what was added or misconstrued either by innocent well meaning leaders or authors or by ones seeking to control a population for what ever reason. The results must be what we use to make our laws and hopefully these laws will be carried in our hearts and consciousness so that governmental laws are seemingly not needed. There must be very enlightening and valuable truths within our religions so for the good of humanity let us find them and share them with all. And the same is true for the misunderstandings and misinterpreted and misrepresented things of religion that cause killing in the name of the lord. Condemnation in the name of the lord.
